Another telecom giant Bharti Airtel on Tuesday announced a partnership with leading tech company Qualcomm to bring 5G technology to India. The partnership will enable Airtel to expand its broadband services across the country at affordable prices and faster 5G services.

Airtel said small and medium-sized enterprises could play a major role in its formation. Recently, Airtel set a record by testing the 5G network for the first time in the country. It achieved this feat by broadcasting a live advertisement in Hyderabad through the 5G network. Airtel hopes to launch 5G broadband services with Qualcomm in the near future.
