Illness to retired IPS wife after vaccination
Hyderabad: Another 33,689 people have been vaccinated in the state. Of these, 31,368 took the first dose and 2321 took the second dose, according to the Department of Health Vaccine Bulletin. So far, 2,25,725 healthcare workers have taken the first dose and 1,70,304 have taken the second dose. Similarly, 11,5525 frontline workers took the first dose and 65,809 took the second dose. In addition, 4,42429 elderly people and 2,41,311 chronic adults between the ages of 45 and 59 were vaccinated, officials said. So far, 12,64,026 people across the state have been vaccinated, according to the health ministry.

Heena, wife of retired IPS officer Shah Nawaz Qasim, fell ill after being vaccinated. Authorities rushed her to Osmania Hospital shortly after she was vaccinated at the Kothi health office on Thursday. Upon learning of the matter, city police commissioner Anjani Kumar immediately went and consulted her. DH responded to the issue by giving clarity that the vaccine was not distorted. Osmania said she was discharged from the hospital. She was told this had happened only out of tension and panic.
