Minister KTR video conference: Yangwan, the world’s largest textile company, has announced that it is preparing to set up factories at the Kakatiya Mega Textiles Park in Warangal. The company’s ownership explained this to state minister Katie Ramaru in a video conference. KTR said the completion of these projects would mark a milestone in the field of textiles.
Korean textile giant Youngwon is expected to complete construction of its factories at the Kakatiya Mega Textiles Park in Warangal in another six months. Six months later, the world will receive Madin ‘Telangana textiles from Kakatiya Textiles Park,’ said company chairman Kihak Sung. State ministers KTR, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and industry chiefs spoke to company chairman Sung in a video conference. As announced earlier, their company has made it clear that it will continue to invest in Kakatiya Mega Textiles Park.
Construction of five factories is expected to be completed in the next six months. Chairman Sung said another three factories would be set up in the second phase, adding that the construction of the factories, which had already been announced, was yet to be completed. He lauded the Telangana government for its support in all respects since the announcement of their company.
In a video conference with Ministersand South Korea’s textile major Youngone Chairman and CEO Mr. Ki-Hak Sung reiterated their plan of making five of their factories functional in next six months and taking up another three later in Phase-II.

Minister KTR said he was happy that the world’s largest textile company, Yangwan, was preparing to complete its factories in Warangal soon. This will be a milestone not only in Telangana but also in the field of Indian textiles, said Minister KTR. He said that along with Yangwan, some other Korean companies are also likely to invest in Telangana soon. On the occasion, Minister KTR assured Company Chairman Sung that the government would provide all necessary assistance for the construction of the company’s factories.
If the Yangwan company is formed, it will directly employ 12 thousand people. In this context, Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao asked Minister KTR to take steps to provide employment opportunities to the local Warangal people. He appealed for special training for women under the auspices of the Rural Development Department. KTR said Youngwon was ready to provide training on the company’s operations as needed.
