Mumbai: Gold and silver prices are coming down. On Tuesday, the price of 10 grams of pacdi fell by Rs 480 to Rs 47,702 in the national capital. Ten grams of gold traded at Rs 48,182 on Monday. Silver also fell by Rs 3,097 per kg to Rs 70,122 per kg. In Hyderabad, however, ten grams of gold is priced at Rs 49,260 (24 carats). In the global market, gold rose to $ 1,847 an ounce and silver to $ 27.50 an ounce. Market sources said the reduction in import duty on these precious metals in the budget, investors’ acceptance of profits and the fall in prices due to international factors.
