Recently the price of LPG cylinder has gone up once again. The extra burden is going to fall on those who book the cylinder from today. Oil companies have raised the price by a combined Rs 25 per gas cylinder. With this, the price of cooking gas reached Rs 846.50. These new prices went into effect as early as midnight on Wednesday.
In Hyderabad, the price of a cylinder was Rs 821.50 till yesterday. However, the latest price hike to Rs 846.50. In Delhi, the price of a cylinder has gone up to Rs 794. It rose to Rs 797 in Bangalore, Rs 810 in Chennai, Rs 794 in Mumbai and Rs 820 in Kolkata. Gas cylinders have risen by Rs 100 three times in total this month. On February 4, it was increased by Rs 25 and on February 15 by another Rs 50. With the latest increase of Rs 25, it has increased by Rs 100 in a single month.
