A IRS informed that until 6 pm on Monday, 1st, the first day for the submission of the Declaration of Income tax of Individual, 438,109 taxpayer declarations were sent to the electronic system, which is available every day of the week from 5 am to 1 am. The expectation of Federal government is that in 2021 32.6 million declarations will be delivered by the deadline, on April 30th. The income declared in the year refers to that received by the taxpayer in 2020. Instructions on what can be used as a deduction and how the documents must be completed can be seen on the IRS website.
Those who have received taxable income above R $ 28,559.70 in 2020 must declare Income Tax; those who had gross income from rural activity in excess of R $ 142,798.50; who received non-taxable or taxable income from the source with a sum above R $ 40 thousand; people with possession or ownership of goods or rights in an amount above R $ 300 thousand up to December 31 and those with capital gain on the sale of assets or rights or who carried out operations on stock exchanges, future and similar goods.
