The readjustment represents an increase of 5.26% in relation to the current value, of 1,045 reais.
“The amount of R $ 1,100.00 refers to the national minimum wage. The amount is applicable to all workers, from the public and private sectors, and also to pensions and pensions ”, he said, in another post.
In the new version of the draft Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO), which defines the bases of the Budget, forwarded to the Legislative on December 15, the minimum wage had been stipulated in the document at 1,088 reais. The previous figure considered its correction by INPC in 2020, without granting a real increase.
In a virtual interview, the Economic Policy secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Adolfo Sachsida, stated shortly afterwards that the impact on the public accounts of the minimum wage increase from January will be approximately 4 billion reais, noting that the increase is within of the public spending ceiling.
“If you compare the figures, we are talking about an increase here of approximately 4 billion reais, so it is within the ceiling space, I think we are well grounded in that and respect for the ceiling,” said Sachsida, in a virtual interview.
“All tax rules will be respected”, he reinforced.
