Writer was hospitalized after feeling a “sudden malaise” during a flight between the United States and Brazil
The writer Olavo de Carvalho, 74, was discharged this Sunday, 18, after spending ten days in the Instituto do Coração of São Paulo (Incor). He was seen at the health facility on July 8 after feeling “suddenly unwell” during a flight between the United States and Brazil, according to the hospital. Writer was hospitalized for presenting a crisis of angina and underwent treatment for cardiac compensation. On July 13, he also underwent emergency surgery to revise his bladder operation held in May this year. According to the doctors, the writer must remain at rest at home, waiting for guidance to continue the treatment of urology. In April, Olavo de Carvalho had already been admitted to the USA, where he currently lives, after a respiratory crisis.
