In the financial capital Mumbai, petrol price touched Rs 97.34 per liter and diesel Rs 88.44 per liter. In Bangalore, petrol was priced at Rs 93.98 while diesel was priced at Rs 86.21.
In Hyderabad, a liter of petrol was hiked by 36 paise and diesel by 38 paise. With this, the price of a liter of petrol in Hyderabad has gone up to Rs 94.54 and diesel to Rs 88.69. In Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, the price of a liter of petrol has gone up by 35 paise. While the petrol price was 97.18, the diesel price was 90.34.

Opposition parties have criticized the Modi government for doing a great job in plundering the pockets of the people. In the last 54 days, oil prices have risen 25 times.
