You can get KYC updates online. First you need to go to your EPFO portal. You will need to log in with your UAN number and password. Go to the Manage tab section. In the drop-down menu, select the KYC option. In this, complete details like bank account, PAN number, Aadhaar card number should be entered. Then click on Save. Data will be saved in the pending KYC section. Now it shows that the details you have entered are correct but verified. However, documents like bank account, PAN card, Aadhaar, passport, driving license, voter ID, ration card can be used for KYC process.
UAN link to PF account
Your PF account must be UAN linked. Even if the account is not linked, there will be a problem in getting the money. So link in advance. Apart from activating the UAN number, some other tasks also need to be completed. Aadhaar card should be linked with PF account. Bank details also need to be linked to the PF account.
