O Federal Senate extended the deadline for declaring income tax until June 31. The decision comes under justification of the impact of the pandemic Covid-19. Initially, the delivery limit would end on April 30th. The refund schedule was maintained, with the first batch for May 31. As it was changed, the project returns to the Chamber of Deputies, before the president’s sanction Jair Bolsonaro.

The fine for the absence of the declaration or after the deadline has a minimum value of R $ 165 and a limit of 20% of the tax due.
