After the general voluntary measures, TAP opened a new option: until April 4, eligible workers can apply for a direct transfer from TAP to Portugália.

According to the ECO, TAP pilots and crew members can, until the end of this week, apply to move on to the Portugal.

In the case of pilots, the program is aimed at younger professionals and aims to meet the needs for eight new Embraer aircraft.

In this sense, and with the objective of captivating more people, compensation corresponding to half the amount is offered if they leave with termination by mutual agreement.

The airline had opened a program of voluntary measures until March 24. However, the following day, the eligible workers met in the internal area of the site one new possibility which indicates that until April 4, an application can be made to be transferred from TAP to Portugália.

This option has some perks.

Pilots who are approved, keep their debts with TAP paid off in full and do not have to pay the new type rating E190, refers to ECO.

A guarantee is also given that contractual link with TAP until the exact moment of signing a new contract and an open-ended contract with PGA after the successful completion of the EJet course.

In the transition phase in which he is taking the course, the pilot receives the TAP salary and will also receive payment of half of the compensation due for situations of mutual termination.

Crew members are offered a indefinite contract with Portugália, concluded after the conclusion of the training with the new company.

Vacancies that are not occupied by pilots and crew members volunteering for this program will be filled through an external recruitment process.
