Prime Time Zone, Webdesk: The Center has temporarily postponed the implementation of four new labor laws. The Department of Labor has made it clear that some states are postponing because they have not finalized the duty policies of the new labor laws. With this, there will be no change in the pay policy on April 1 as previously decided. Also, there will be no change in the PF (Provident Fund) of companies. With the enactment of the four new labor laws, the basic pay and PF policy of employees would change significantly. For this, the Central as well as the State Governments have to notify these regulations.

However, many states have enacted regulations. The states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh have not yet finalized the rules in this regard. That is why the authorities have revealed that they are postponing these new labor laws. Nowadays companies are showing less basic salary and more allowances. If the new law comes into force, the basic salary of an employee should be 50 per cent and the allowance should be 50 per cent. Now that the implementation of the law has been postponed, employees will be able to take their wages under the old system.
