New Delhi: State of India (SBI) is warning consumers about banking fraud. The bank advised customers not to share their personal details. The bank informed about this through social media. Not to fall into the trap of misleading and fake messages, and to report cybercrime if anyone is cheated.
The bank said that if there is any fraud, a complaint should be lodged at https://cybercrime.gov.in. SBI has asked customers not to share PAN details, INB credentials, mobile number, UPI PIN, ATM card number, ATM PIN, UPI VPA with anyone. From time to time SBI alerts consumers about online fraud through its Twitter account. A few days ago the bank warned Prime Time Zone to be careful with WhatsApp calls or messages.
Do not share your personal banking details with anyone.
You need to constantly change your account password.
Never tell your internet banking details by phone, email or SMS.
Never click on suspicious links.
Always rely on the SBI official website for information on any bank.
Contact the local police authorities or the nearest SBI branch for complaints against fraudsters.
