The diagnosis was made after the artist felt bad at home and performed a series of tests. “Anitta is under medical care, receiving medication and hydration. The singer, still without an expected discharge, will spend more tonight in the hospital”, wrote the team in a last update about Anitta’s health status.
Renan Machado, one of the funkeira’s brothers, shared a series of stories also on Wednesday, 17, to deny speculation that she was with covid-19, even disclosing the exam she did, with a negative result.
“Yes, my sister is hospitalized, being medicated and being treated. I wanted to clarify that she is not a covid. As soon as she got here, she was tested, it was negative and she is being treated. It’s all right,” said Renan.
“I’m just coming here to end these speculations and ask a little respect for her, so she can recover well and get out of here [hospital]”, finished the singer’s brother.
Despite the hospitalization, Anitta received good news yesterday: she was nominated by the American magazine Time as one of the 100 emerging leaders who are defining the global future, integrating the Time 100 Next 2021 list. On Instagram, the artist wrote: “I’m very honored to be part of this group “.
