Judo is the sport that gave Brazil the highest number of medals in the Olympics, with 23 medals now, 4 of which are gold

the judoka Daniel Cargnin defeated Israeli Baruch Shmailov in the dispute for the bronze in the 66kg category and won the medal for Brazil in the Tokyo Olympic Games, this Sunday.

The Gaucho, debuting in the Olympics, lost in the semifinal to the Japanese two-time world champion Abe Hifume, who ended up winning the Olympic gold in the dispute at home, beating Vazha Margvelashvili, from Georgia, in the final.

The other bronze medal went to Baul An, from South Korea.
