With Covid-19 since the beginning of February, Cesar Filho recovered from the most serious symptoms of the disease and was discharged from Hospital Vila Nova Star, in São Paulo, this Thursday (18). The 60-year-old presenter was hospitalized for a week, during which he performed procedures such as physiotherapy for the lungs.
“Both cured, zeroed and without transmitting. Now we don’t transmit anymore. What a thrill!”, Celebrated Elaine Mickely, wife of the holder of Hoje em Dia, in a video that was recorded in the hospital room and shared on Instagram’s Stories tool.
Before leaving the medical center, Cesar Filho appeared thanking health professionals for their care over the past few days, as well as the prayers of friends and fans. He also warned that he will now enter the final phase of recovery before resuming command of Today.
Presentation partner at Record, Ticiane Pinheiro sent flowers to the hospital reception to celebrate his friend’s discharge. Cesar Filho showed the message from his co-worker – the card was also signed by César Tralli, Ticiane Pinheiro’s husband.
At home, Elaine Mickely’s husband was met with balloons hung by his daughter, Luma Cesar. The couple displayed a sign “vibrating healing” to commemorate their recovery. Elaine also had the disease, but had milder symptoms. She remained in the hospital with the presenter while he was hospitalized.
