Netflix released the official trailer for the third season of Jurassic World: Jurassic Camp, an animated series based on the film franchise created by Steven Spielberg. The preview shows the young protagonists trying to leave the island of the dinosaurs and facing the chaos of a new threat.

Unlike the first two years, the third season will increase from eight to ten chapters. Scott Kreamer, co-creator of the animation, revealed that the new episode will have several connections with the previous events of the series and the films.

Paul-Mikél Williams, Jenna Ortega, Ryan Potter, Raini Rodriguez, Sean Giambrone and Kausar Mohammed return in the voice cast. Dr. Henry Wu (DB Wong), character featured in Jurassic Park: The Dinosaur Park (1993) and present in the first season, will also return in the new year.

In the official synopsis of the third year released by Netflix, campers discover more details of Dr. Wu’s secret research and must quickly take their fate into their own hands with a dangerous plan to leave Nublar Island forever.

When a tropical storm delays escape, a new lethal threat quickly approaches, putting their lives in extreme danger again.

The third season of Jurassic World: Jurassic Camp is scheduled to premiere on May 21st. Watch the trailer (without subtitles):
