Chico Pinheiro rescues his catchphrase on Globo and shakes the web: ‘Friday, thank God’

Journalist Chico Pinheiro rescued his famous catchphrase and stirred up social media. “What day is it? Friday, thank God! Thank God it’s Friday. And life goes on! Until Monday”, joked the anchor at the end of Bom Dia Brasil this Friday morning (9). “I don’t know about you, but I missed you,” declared a netizen.

On Twitter, the journalist’s excitement infected his fans, who were “orphans” from the catchphrase after Pinheiro was removed from the newsstand due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During this period, Ana Paula Araújo led Bom Dia Brasil alone.

“Yeah, life goes on. How good it is to have Chico Pinheiro on our mornings back. I’m a big fan”, wrote João Pedro. “I didn’t even know I was so homesick to hear Chico Pinheiro saying: ‘It’s Friday, thank God.’ I almost cried,” confessed Juliana Nunes.

“I don’t know about you, but I was missing that ‘thank God it’s Friday, life goes on.’ It’s good that you’re back”, commented Carlos Schirmer.
