Emmy 2021, the 73rd edition of the biggest TV and streaming awards in the world, will be broadcast live this Sunday, the 19th, starting at 9:00 pm, Brasília time, at the LA Live Event Deck, in Los Angeles. The big bets of the night are the series “The Crown”, by Netflix, and “The Mandalorian”, by Disney+, both with 24 nominations. This year, who heads the list of Emmy nominees is HBO Max, with 130 in total. In second place is Netflix, with 129 and, in third, Disney+, with 71 nominations. The open-air ceremony will be presented by actor and comedian Cedric the Entertainer and will have a limited attendance. Guests must present a negative Covid-19 test and proof of vaccination. Emmy 2021 will be broadcast on CBS Television Network and Paramount+. In Brazil, the broadcast will be made by TNT and TNT Séries channels (official Emmy broadcaster in the country), from 8:30 pm, with “Esquenta TNT”, which will feature the participation of Tiago Abravanel, Ikaro Kadoshi and Carol Ribeiro. The heat will also be broadcast on TNT’s official social networks.
