Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, whose contract expired in late December, has yet to be confirmed by the team, but the 36-year-old Briton is training as usual in the United States.

It would be a great shock if the sport’s biggest star did not continue to run alongside Finn Valtteri Bottas in the team that won the last seven driver and constructor titles.
THE car 2021, similar to last year, but with some aerodynamic improvements, will be officially known as Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance.
The team said E Performance is a new label to be used on all future Mercedes-AMG hybrid models.
McLaren and Alfa Romeo are the only other teams that have already announced launch dates with virtual presentations – a reflection of the safety precautions required by the new coronavirus pandemic (covid-19) – on February 15 and 22, respectively.
The season begins in Bahrain on March 28, and teams conduct tests at the Sakhir circuit between March 12 and 14.
