Former porn actress, Mia Khalifa made fun of the chaotic political situation in Brazil and decided to “help” in an investigation by the Covid-19 CPI. On Sunday night (18), senator Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP) made a joke on social networks, citing the digital influencer saying that she should “run here”. Mia jokingly replied, “You’re in crisis. I’m on my way!”

The Vice-President of the Parliamentary Research Committee that shows the performance of President Jair Bolsonaro in combating Covid-19 pandemic shared a report by Lauro Jardim, from Jornal O Globo, about Eduardo Pazuello.

Jardim’s note says that Eduardo Pazuello, when he was still minister of health, negotiated the purchase of 30 million doses of Coronavac vaccine with an intermediary, a company that exports 76 product categories, with an emphasis on items from sex shops.

“Instead of negotiating with Butantan, Pazuello went to negotiate Coronavac with a company that imports erotic products… Run here, Mia Khalifa! I think they were using you as a smokescreen!”, joked Rodrigues on the social network.

The former adult movie star shared the politician’s joke and made another joke. “You’re in crisis. I’m on my way!”, wrote the former porn actress, who still put emojis in her suitcase and plane, signaling that she was taking a flight to Brazil.

Moses and CPI?

This was not the first time that Mia Khalifa was related to Covid-19’s CPI, which is a success in ratings on TV Senado and in the news channels, in addition to dominating the comments on Brazilian social networks in testimonies days.

One of the curious phenomena of the Commission is that of Mia Khalifa. The 28-year-old’s name quickly appears among the most talked about topics on Twitter during the speeches by senator Luís Carlos Heinze.

The politician, who belongs to the so-called “shock troops” of the Jair Bolsonaro government at the CPI, is one of the defenders of chloroquine in the treatment against Covid-19. To support his arguments, the senator from Rio Grande do Sul tried to discredit studies published in scientific journals and even made an analogy with a false news widely publicized on social networks.

In the lying story, Mia appears wearing glasses and dressed in a white outfit. She is identified as Marcela Pereira, an “infectologist doctor” who is “conducting a large-scale study of the use of chloroquine in the treatment of Covid-19, with very encouraging results, but which will not be released by Globo and Band, bought by the communists Chinese”.

On June 9th, senator Luis Carlos Heinze (PP-RS) was once again the reason for a joke on the commission for bringing up Mia’s name to the debate. On the occasion, he defended himself against Randolfe Rodrigues’ comments and said that he became the target of fake news, causing laughter from Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), chairman of the commission.

Attentive to comments on the web, Mia Khalifa got back into the fun and was amused by his quote in the Brazilian CPI. She shared a montage, as if testifying to parliamentarians.
