In the Gossip of this Friday (19), Flor Fernandez stated that SBT is “on the fly” and “in crisis” because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The commentator gave the statement when she spoke about the requests for help to Globo from family members of some BBB21 participants.
Gabriel Cartolano said that Globo has to provide advice to the families of the brothers because of the attacks directed at some of them on social networks, but he pointed out that it is not correct for the station to be held responsible for the comments of Big Brother Brasil participants.
After that, he made a parallel with his performance in the SBT program. “We are free to say what we want here, but SBT cannot be responsible for what I say”, said the presenter.
Flor agreed with her colleague, but made some sincere reservations. “Cartolano, SBT is looking like it is on the fly. Only a few people are working. How are you going to get people to advise? We are in crisis. We are in a pandemic, without employees. Globo is sending everyone away,” said the ex-judge of the Freshmen Show.
The discussion was specifically about Karol Conká. The singer’s relatives reportedly asked Globo for help in dealing with the offensive comments of Internet users, dissatisfied with the rapper’s behavior in the confinement.
Chris Flores pointed out that the singer could be a “sympathetic, charismatic villain who will make a comeback”. Ana Paula Renault disagreed and analyzed that Globo would be helping to soften the artist’s conduct in the program to prevent the rejection from growing further.
“I think the pressure on Globo is so great, and in a way I even understand, okay? Because the woman’s career is crumbling, right? It’s crumbling day after day”, pondered the former BBB.
“Globo is trying to make her a comic villain. But comic she has nothing. Now cruel villain is where the character fits,” shot the journalist, who had already detonated the singer for an episode in which she said she was ignored.
