Big Brother Brasil 21 participant, Karol Conká had his first victory in court in the lawsuit filed by businesswoman Bianka Grismino. In a decision handed down on Monday (1st), Judge Guilherme Ferreira da Cruz denied the prosecution’s request that the singer be summoned during confinement on Globo’s reality show.
“Note, by the way, that it is not even claimed – here – risk of future impossibility of producing the evidence; whereas the notorious confinement regime imposed by the aforementioned television program on its participants, per se, prevents Karoline’s quote from PROJAC “, said the magistrate, in reference to the former name of Estúdios Globo.
In the decision, to which the TV News had access, the judge reinforces that the summons to the confined artist is “unnecessary until it is proved that the coauthor did not leave attorneys empowered to receive the call on her behalf. Therefore, I reject the embargoes of declaration”.
Bianka, owner of a jewelry store hosted on the Shopee platform, accuses the singer of not complying with the agreement during an advertising action made in October 2020.
The businesswoman says that Karol was hired with the aim of attracting new customers to her store. However, the current sister would not have fulfilled her part of the agreement and would have made only one publication to direct her followers to the Shopee platform. The case was reported by the journalist Leo Dias, from Metrópoles.
According to the author of the case, Karol Conká would also have used some pieces of his brand during the recording of a clip, without crediting the store. For this reason, the businesswoman asks for the amount of R $ 230 thousand as compensation for material and moral damages.
Sought by the report, Bianka’s legal team reported that “the case is proceeding normally. The judge has expressed a very clear position. He considers the possibility that there is a prosecutor appointed to be summoned on her behalf. The sister team did not answer the questions until the publication of this text.
