Reprise of the soap opera is making a hit on Globo and the actress believes that this is due to the fact that the plot conveys affection in a difficult moment: ‘The delicacy of this story comes at a good time’

Press Release / GloboMarjorie Estiano shared a scene with Nicette Bruno in ‘A Vida da Gente’

Two sisters, one is seen as a young promise of tennis, the other is rejected by her mother. At the height of her career, tennis player Ana becomes pregnant and is influenced to give her baby up for adoption, but when she has contact with the child, she gives up on the idea and decides to take on her daughter. To do this, Ana plans to run away from home with the help of her sister, Manuela, but they have an accident in the escape that makes Ana spend years in a coma. The plot of “Our lives”, A critical success and among the public, was originally shown between 2011 and 2012 and drew attention for focusing on human relations and for placing fate as the“ villain ”of the plot. The soap opera Lycia Manzo, which has Nicette Bruno in the cast, it is being replayed in the range of 18h on Globo and is once again pleasing the public and giving good ratings. The actress Marjorie Estiano, which gave life to Manuela, was one of the great highlights, and her character, who takes on the creation of her niece when Ana (Fernanda Vasconcellos) falls into a coma, fell on viewers’ liking.

Marjorie believes that “A Vida da Gente” is bringing “affection in an arid moment”. “The soap opera is being replayed at a time when our relations are still very shaken. The pandemic came with the force of nature, a tsunami passing over everyone, showing that we are and must all be on the same side, that we are made of the same material, that we live in society and that to stay alive it is essential to understand what that means, ”commented the actress in an interview with Young pan. After the accident, the story follows the conflicts of Manuela, who, while suffering with her sister in a coma, manages to rebuild her life by opening her own business, creating Júlia and falling in love with Rodrigo (Rafael Cardoso), biological father of the niece and ex-boyfriend of the sister.

The young woman’s greatest conflict is with her mother, Eva (Ana Beatriz Nogueira), who has always rejected her and blamed Ana for the accident, who does not hide being her favorite daughter. Loaded with emotion, the novel features dialogues that, for Marjorie, instigate the audience. “The characters in the novel make their choices in the name of love. Certainly the delicacy of this story comes at a good time. We are all in a very sore soul, the pain of a very strong impact, the body is sensitive. So, before anything, I see this novel as a welcome, reminding us how affection makes life more beautiful. Today, love is, more than ever, a political position. ”

Living with Nicette Bruno

In addition to being able to watch this great success again, the audience is also having the opportunity to see Nicette Bruno on the scene. In the role of Iná, a loving grandmother who welcomes Manuela and great-granddaughter Júlia after they were expelled from home by Eva, the actress, who died in December last year, victim of Covid-19, shared several scenes with Marjorie. “I have the best memories. I have no trace of any sensation other than admiration, lightness, beauty. Within the conviviality that we had, there was not a single moment of discomfort, embarrassment, conflict of generations, nothing. She was an extremely accommodating person and actress. And look, the pace we followed was to unbalance anyone. It was just wonderful, it was a balm, ”said Manuela’s interpreter.

In Marjorie’s perception, Nicette had a broad understanding of the world, relationships and work and, because of that, had no difficulty adapting to the new. “She didn’t have any kind of imprisonment. I wouldn’t say that Iná and Nicette are the same person. I think they had a lot in common, such as perspicacity, emotional intelligence, among other characteristics, but Nicette had a personality perhaps more gaiata, fun, an enviable vitality and an interest in absolutely everything. He was an interested person, whole. Nicette was a show that I had the privilege of watching for a year of my life and that reverberates and transforms me to this day ”, concluded the actress.
