Globo shows the drama Like I Was Before You on the Hot Screen of this Monday (22), at 11:55 pm (Brasília time). Launched in 2016, the film shows the peculiar Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke) looking for a job to help support her family. However, her cheerful attitude is tested when she becomes the caregiver of the wheelchair and moody Will Traynor (Sam Claflin).
Rich and successful, Will led a life full of achievements, travel and extreme sports until he was hit by a motorcycle. The accident makes him quadriplegic, forcing him to remain in a wheelchair.
The situation makes him depressed and extremely cynical, to the concern of his parents, Camilla (Janet McTeer) and Steven (Charles Dance). No longer an adventurous soul, the boy is about to give up on life.
It is in this context that Lou Clark is hired to look after Will. Of modest origin, with financial difficulties and without great aspirations in life, the young woman does everything possible to improve the mood of the new boss.
The protagonist is determined to show him that life is worth living. Embarking on a series of adventures together, Lou and Will end up romantically involved.
Directed by Thea Sharrock, the feature is based on the novel written by Jojo Moyes. Matthew Lewis, Jenna Coleman, Vanessa Kirby and Steve Peacocke are still in the cast.
