The cast of Amor de Mãe needed more than masks and liters of alcohol gel on their return to Estúdios Globo, in Rio de Janeiro, to record the outcome of the booklet that will air again next Monday (1st). In addition to the Covid-19 detection tests, the actors also faced periods of confinement and the pressure to “hit” their first scenes – the longer on set, the greater the chance of contamination by Sars-COV-2.
An interpreter of Érica, Nanda Costa recalls that she left home for the first time in months to complete her work on the nine o’clock soap opera. “There was a concentration of the team, a silence, because we had to go first or second. The distance was so serious that sometimes it was measured with a measuring tape”, explains the actress.
The artist says that the abundance in the house of Lourdes (Regina Casé) had come to an end, as well as all the lunches and dinners that moved the nucleus. “I missed eating on the scene [risos], because there was always something, a tapioca. It was a restriction that was missed, because we forgot about life and stayed there chatting “, he confides.
In common with Ryan, Thiago Martins admits that his appetite is also voracious. “Our scenes together at the table were very nice, very good to do. I miss my mother’s chester”, jokes the actor, referring to the sequences in which the family got together for Christmas.
In addition to acrylic partitions and all protocols, there was a professional behind the scenes to ensure the correct use and disposal of the masks. She also saw to it that the cast deposited the equipment in closed plastic boxes to run their sequences.
Mom’s Love Cast records with mask
“She became as important a character as any of us. She was very careful and always came with the bottle of alcohol when she saw someone put her hand on the mask. I felt very well looked after”, reveals Regina Casé, 66 , who needed extra care for belonging to the disease risk group.
The actress was still isolated inside a hotel room for a week to record the scene in which Lourdes discovers that Danilo (Chay Suede) is his son Domênico. The management considered that it was impossible to record the passage without any physical contact between the actors, who experienced confinement similar to the candidates of Big Brother Brasil.
“We were tested and isolated in the hotel for scenes that could not occur without physical contact, be it a hug, a kiss or a slap from Dona Lurdes. I think, in the end, we managed to preserve the essence of the affection of Mother’s love without breaking the protocols “, points out Humberto Carrão.
