Netflix confirmed on Thursday morning (25) the fifth season of Elite. On its social networks, the streaming platform also announced two reinforcements in the cast: the Brazilian André Lamoglia and the Argentine Valentina Zenere. The fourth season of the series has not yet aired.
Lamoglia and Valentina became known for roles in Disney’s teen series. The Brazilian played Rafa Smor, the protagonist of Juacas (2017-2019), while the Argentine became famous for being the villainous Ámbar Smith, in Sou Luna (2016-2018).
In addition to Juacas, André was also part of the main cast of Bia’s second season, also from Disney, as well as special appearances in the third year of production. The actor was also present in Secrets of Justice (2016-2017), Detectives of the Blue Building and Globo’s soap opera Rock Story (2017).
The Elite squad has changed a lot since the first season. The darlings Danna Paola and Ester Expposto, who played Lu and Carla, respectively, will no longer be present in the fourth season, which is scheduled to debut in the first half of this year.
Besides them, Jorge López (Valerio), Álvaro Rico (Polo) and Mina El Hammani (Nadia) also left the series after the end of the third season. Protaginists Samuel and Guzman, played by Itzan Escamilla and Miguel Bernardeau, continue with their roles in the attraction.
