On Monday (22), Netflix announced the launch of the national film Cabras da Peste, which shows the journey of a policeman from the interior of Ceará to rescue Celestina, a goat. The protagonist needs to travel to São Paulo to recover the animal, which is considered heritage of his city. The film hits the platform on March 18.
Officer Bruceuilis (Edmilson Filho) is in charge of solving the crime and defeating the criminal who stole the goat. In the capital of São Paulo, he meets Trindade (Matheus Nachtergaele), a police clerk who decides to venture out on the field and accompany him in the search, even though it is not his specialty.
Saving Celestina will not be an easy task, but the pair of completely different personalities promises to amuse the public by getting involved in absurd situations. The cast also includes Leandro Ramos, Letícia Lima, Juliano Cazarré, Evelyn Castro and Falcão. The film is directed by Vitor Brandt.
The film has its world premiere scheduled for March 18 on Netflix. Watch the trailer for Cabras da Peste:
