A Netflix revealed the audience of the South Korean series Round 6 (Squid Game, in the original name). More than 100 million profiles of subscribers to the video streaming service reproduced the series of survival. In total, the series played on the screens of 111 million homes worldwide.
With that, Round 6 surpasses Bridgerton’s audience, which was 82 million views just eight days after launching on Netflix.
According to information from Reuters, the success of Round 6 was so great that Netflix was even accused by the South Korean internet provider SK Broadband of monopolizing internet traffic in South Korea.
The case went to court and Netflix undertook to analyze the case of compensation of users affected by the failure of the operator.
On Twitter, Netflix announced that Round 6 is its biggest series ever.
