A sensation series in the world since its debut in December last year, Bridgerton lost the most viewed attraction in the United States to Friends Forever, a new Netflix production starring Katherine Heigl, the eternal Izzie Stevens of Grey’s first seasons Anatomy.

The analysis was made by Nielsen (the American Ibope) and corresponds to the audience between the 1st and 7th of February. With 1.308 billion minutes watched, the series took over from the list in its first five days on display – the platform premiere took place on February 3.

With the new leader, darling Bridgerton once again dropped to second place, accounting for 659 million minutes seen in the same period. WandaVision, another highlight from the beginning of 2021, was in third place, with 589 million.

Friends Forever narrates the friendship of two women over 40 years, from the 1970s to the new millennium. Katherine plays Tully, one of the protagonists, a beautiful and ambitious woman.

The top 5 is still comprised of The Crown, a series that snatched awards at the Golden Globe 2021, and Longmire (2012-2017), Netflix’s original production already finished, but which has become popular in recent weeks in the North American country.

Check out the full list with the ten most viewed series between February 1st and 7th in the US streamings. With the exception of WandaVision, all productions are part of the Netflix catalog:
