What would the perfect glasses for a DJ look like? It was with this in mind that Chilli Beans developed its newest collection in partnership with Alok, the most heard Brazilian in the world. With 20 solar models and six grade, the “Tech In Style” brings together frames with futuristic shapes, including rods that simulate hardware power cables, details that refer to USB connectors, prints that mimic typical LCD screen bugs and polarized lenses in different colors.
The novelty is already the fifth collection that Chilli Beans launches in partnership with the DJ – who in the last five years helped to sell more than half a million pieces – and defines a new moment for the brand, increasingly positioned on the pillars of technology and sustainability. These two elements also support the “brand” Alok, which talks to the world of technology and invests in sustainable initiatives such as carbon neutral shows.
Among the 26 frames in the collection, the highlight is the model that has a pen drive on one of its poles – see photo that illustrates this article. The device was chosen because it represents the DJ’s universe, as it is always present in their routine.
“Chilli Beans and Alok have a very organic trajectory – the relationship with festivals and music makes this partnership even more special and true. This new collection is very special, as we had the chance to unite two essential pillars of our brand: music and the geek universe”, says Caito Maia, CEO and founder of the brand, which in the coming months will bring to its portfolio products made from waste taken from the seabed.
The collection Alok Tech In Style it is available on the website, in physical stores and kiosks throughout the country. Prices range from R$259.00 to R$999.00.
