Netflix announced on Sunday (21) the renewal of the national series Brotherhood for its second season. The attraction carried out by Naruna Costa and Seu Jorge and which shows the backstage of a criminal faction was launched in October 2019 by the streaming platform.

THE TV News had anticipated on February 11 of last year that Brazilian production would have new episodes, with the recordings scheduled to begin the following month at the Piraquara State Penitentiary, located in Greater Curitiba (PR).

The new coronavirus, however, changed the team’s plans, and Netflix preferred to remain silent about the production of the second season for more than a year – after all, abroad, the pandemic forced the platform to go back and cancel series that had already been renewed.
