The redesign of RedeTV’s nighttime grid! made Luciana Gimenez miss her talk show, Luciana By Night, for which she was so fond. There were several factors that led the broadcaster to make this decision, but the main one was the lack of relevant content. The board assessed that the program did not have the same quality, prestige or depth as Daniela Albuquerque’s Sensacional.
Kaka Marques, the station’s artistic and production director, noted that the celebrities who went to Luciana Gimenez’s sofa rarely yielded relevant guidelines. From the interviews, there was no news, no unpublished story, only beaten subjects. Therefore, the public did not comment on social networks and the press did not pass on its contents either.
Comparisons with Sensacional were inevitable, since RedeTV! it manages to attract even artists from other broadcasters, who always keep a letter up their sleeve to make the interviews hotter and deeper. In the evaluation of the direction, Daniela finds it easier to win over her guests.
The factor “home of UOL” was also placed on the agenda. The press office of the broadcaster reported to the direction that the journalists seek her to request content from the interviews and make their disclosures, in addition to getting a weekly highlight on the main page of UOL.
This was not an overvaluation of the feud between Luciana and Daniela, much less a classification of who is better at the job. So much so that RedeTV! struggled to keep Marcelo de Carvalho’s ex-wife in his squad.
Only the format was placed on the agenda, which was no longer serving the interests of the house, which chose to leave with Daniela the mission of continuing to conduct in-depth interviews with the famous.
Luciana lost By Night, but did not keep empty-handed. She continues with Superpop and also won Operation Cupid, a game show that debuts in April, in the same week that new hires with their respective programs and the completely revamped version of TV Fama will go on air.
