Globo shows the film Um Senhor Trainee in the Afternoon Session this Wednesday (24th), at 3pm (Brasília time). Launched in 2015 and starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, the plot shows the story of a retiree who gets an internship at a fashion website led by a much younger woman.

Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) is a 70-year-old widower who can no longer stand to be inactive after his long-awaited retirement. To change that, he gets the internship for older people on a famous website run by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway).

Even though he doesn’t deal well with technology, Ben starts to stand out in the office because of his life experience and hard work. Starting friendships not only with her colleagues, but also with the executive.

The rest of the cast consists of Rene Russo, Adam Devine, Zack Pearlman, Ander Holm and Nat Wolff. Nancy Meyers is directing the feature.

See the other films that will be shown in the Afternoon Session this week: Fantastic Four (Thursday) and Very Well Accompanied (Friday).
