The Telecine Premium shows the drama I can only imagine in this Saturday’s Super Star Session (13th), at 10 pm (Brasília time). Released in 2018, the film brings the story behind the song I Can Only Imagine, by the American band MercyMe.
The song, which was successful in the 1990s, was written by vocalist Bart Millard, played by J. Michael Finley in the feature. He composed it after the death of Arthur (Dennis Quaid), his father. As in other songs, the artist talks about his life story and the search for faith.
The musical drama directed by Andrew Erin and Jon Erin also features Madeline Carroll and Trace Adkins in the cast.
After the screening at the Super Starter Session, Eu Só Imaginar will be replayed at Telecine Pipoca, at 8 pm on Sunday (14). The film is also now available on Telecine Play, streaming from the network.
