Keke Palmer, Zayday Williams’ performer in the Scream Queens series (2015-2016), struck a deal to star in the new horror film by Jordan Peele, Oscar-winning director for best screenplay for Run! (2017). Still untitled, the film has no further details revealed beyond its premiere date: July 22, 2022.
Just like you did in Corra! and We (2019), Peele will write and direct the new film. Keke’s character was also not revealed. The information is from the Deadline website.
Keke’s lineup isn’t the only feature of the feature. According to The Illuminerd, Daniel Kaluuya is also negotiating to star in the film alongside Keke. If the deal is made official, it will be the star’s first meeting with Peele after being nominated for an Oscar for best actor by Corra !.
The casting of the actress occurs after months of Peele conducting tests to choose the protagonist of her new project. It is Keke’s first major role in a feature film after minor appearances in films and series.
