Sex Education actress Simone Ashley has been announced for the second season of the Netflix series, Bridgerton. She will play the character Kate Sharma, the love interest of Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey).
Simone was known for her role in Sex Education, in which she played the character Olivia. Now, in the series based on the books by Julia Quinn, the actress will give life to an intelligent and determined woman, newcomer to London.
The second season will tell the story of the second book in the Julia saga about the Bridgerton family. Recordings based on the book O Visconde que Amava (2000) will start on March 1st in the United Kingdom.
Also confirmed for the second season cast are Adjoa Andoh, Jason Barnett, Jullie Andrews, Ruby Parker and Sabrina Bartlett. Check out the official announcement of Simone Ashley in the series:
