Prime Time Zone, Movie: Samantha Akkineni will play Shakuntala in the upcoming movie ‘Shakuntalam’ directed by Gunasekhar. The movie unit has already given an update on the Shakuntalam Costume Diaries as an official announcement on this. National award winning costume designer ‘Nita Lulla’ is all set to work on the film. He said he was happy to travel with her to provide the most authentic Indian clothing to the ‘Shakuntalam’ project. The film is being produced by Neelima Guna under the banner of Guna Team Works and voiced by Manisharma.
