Comedian died in May 2021 from complications related to Covid-19; actor left two children, twins Gael and Romeo
The doctor Thales Bretas reflected on what it will be like to spend the first Father’s Day without her husband Paulo Gustavo, who died in May 2021 from complications related to Covid-19. “This is going to be the most memorable Father’s Day for me. Despite the pain, I’m here, resisting and watering what Paulo and I have planted in this world”, vented the dermatologist. Together, they are parents of twins Gael and Romeu, who will turn two this month. Cover for the magazine GQ Brasil, Thales appears alongside his children and says that the rehearsal was scheduled since the beginning of the year and that he decided to continue, even without Paulo, because of the representation of his family. “Thank you, GQ Brasil, for keeping this cover, which was scheduled since the beginning of the year, and because of the importance of representation, we decided to continue”, he said. Then he paid yet another tribute to her husband. “Paulo is still in every corner of our house and in the smiles of Gael and Romeo. And I wouldn’t be able to be the father I am today without the memories he brings me,” he said.
