Globo shows the film The Resurrection of Gavin Stone in the Afternoon Session of this Thursday (1st), at 15h (Brasília time). Launched in 2017, the film shows a former child star who is forced to return to his home and provide community service, which could end up changing his life.
In the plot, Gavin Stone (Brett Dalton) was a child actor who became a failed adult. He needs to do community service at a local church.
The parish is producing an Easter play, which Gavin sees as an opportunity to return to fame. He then pretends to be a Christian in order to play Jesus Christ, and ends up realizing that the most important role of his life is far from Hollywood.
The film directed by Dallas Jenkins also features Shawn Michaels, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Neil Flynn, Patrick Gagnon and Tim Frank in the cast.
The Afternoon Session on Friday (2) shows Shrek Forever, the last film in the animation franchise released in 2010.
