Starring Martin Lawrence, the comedy Vovó … Zona 2 is the attraction of this Monday (5th) of the Afternoon Session, shown on Globo from 3:10 pm (Brasília time). Launched in 2006, the sequel shows FBI agent Malcolm Turner (Lawrence) disguising himself, again, as a lady to work as a nanny at the house of the suspect in killing his partner.
After arresting a famous bank robber, Detective Turner must once again pretend to be an elderly woman to solve a case. This time, the protagonist has to find the suspect of spreading a lethal computer virus, which could allow government enemies to gain access to confidential files.
In the midst of investigations, he disguises himself to work as a nanny at the home of the virus’s creator, Tom Fuller (Mark Moses), facing problems with his children.
While working on the case, the agent poses a threat to the country’s internal security and manages to help a disunited family to reconnect.
Directed by John Whitesell, the film also features Elton LeBlanc, Emily Procter, Zachary Levi, Nia Long and Chloë Grace Moretz.
See the other films that will be shown in the Afternoon Session this week: A Good Party (Tuesday), Taxi (Wednesday), Where Hope is Born (Thursday) and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Origin of Life (Friday).
