Globo shows the film Um Bom Partido in the Afternoon Session this Tuesday (6th), at 3pm (Brasília time). Launched in 2012, the feature starring Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler shows the story of a former football player who tries to rebuild his life.
In the plot, George (Butler) is broke. Then, he becomes the coach of his son’s team to build a relationship with the boy. Gradually, he begins to reconnect with his ex-wife, Stacie (Jessica).
The problem is that, in addition to not having good memories of the marriage, she is also in another relationship. The former athlete tries to adapt to the new life and improve as a father, but everything gets complicated when he starts to attract the interest of his players’ mothers.
The film directed by Gabriele Muccino also features Catherine Zeta-Jones, Dennis Quaid, Judy Greer, Noah Lomax and Uma Thurman in the cast.
