Unesp Book Fair gives discounts of at least 50% until Sunday


A Book Fair gives Unesp 2021 starts this Monday, 5th, with discounts of at least 50%. More than 210 publishers and labels participate in the book fair, which this year will be virtual and ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, the 11th.

Through the Unesp Book Fair website, it is possible to access the list of discounted books from each participating publisher. There are thousands of books on offer. The purchase is made directly through the publisher’s website or, in some cases, through Whatsapp. With the virtual fair, readers do not have to travel or wait in long lines to be served at the most popular stands. On the other hand, freight is almost always charged.

Among the participating publishers this year are Companhia das Letras, However, 34, Authentic, Bazar do Tempo, Dublinense, Estação Liberdade, Global, Iluminuras, Martins Martins Fontes, WMF Martins Fontes, Taschen, Reliquary, Reformatory, Record, L&PM, Lot 42 , Malê, Nova Fronteira, Editora Unesp and Edusp. There are also publishers specializing in children’s books, such as Pulo do Gato and Brinque-Book.

On the Companhia das Letras website, you can find Amada, by Toni Morrison, for R $ 33.95. Viva o Povo Brasileiro, by João Ubaldo Ribeiro, costs R $ 42.45. Mrs Dalloway, by Virginia Woolf, costs R $ 16.45 and 2666, by Roberto Bolaño, R $ 37.45.

The Irmãs Brönte box costs R $ 74.95 in Nova Fronteira. Virginia Woolf, who is being remembered for 80 years of her death, for R $ 64.95. The new 1984 comic is costing R $ 34.95.

In Malê, the biography of Carolina Maria de Jesus, by Tom Faria, is being sold for R $ 36.
