After being relegated to the second national division, Vasco will debut in the Campeonato Carioca 2021 this Wednesday (3), at 9 pm (Brasília time), against Portuguesa, in São Januário. The match will be broadcast live only on the pay-per-view of the competition on pay TV. To watch online, the option is streaming VascoTV, which is paid.

Record is the holder of the broadcasting rights of the state competition, but it will not show the game. In this first round, Edir Macedo’s broadcaster showed only Flamengo’s debut against Nova Iguaçu for Rio de Janeiro and some regions.

For fans interested in subscribing to a pay-per-view plan with pay-TV operators, companies such as Claro, Net, Vivo and Sky offer Cariocão packages. The monthly fee costs R $ 49.90 and it is also possible to close the package that includes all games in the tournament for R $ 129.90.

VascoTV

Like the other main clubs in Rio, Vasco will display all of their competition matches on the club’s official TV, VascoTV. The transmission is digital, and the subscriber will be able to watch on more than one screen on the same IP, either via cell phone, HDMI or Chromecast.

In Cruzmaltino matches, the broadcast team is “club”, with pre-game coverage, post-game commentary and press conference. Vascaína, the journalist Vanessa Riche, ex-SporTV, will be the presenter in the coverage of all matches.

The package offered by the platform has a cost of R $ 129.90 and entitles you to follow all 78 duels in the championship, including non-Vasco games; the fan can also split up to four times. The monthly fee is R $ 49.90, and separate games can be purchased for R $ 59.90.

VascoTV’s initiative is part of a joint negotiation with Botafogo and Fluminense and NSports, a company in the digital market with experience in international football broadcasting and other sports.
