In Império, Cora (Marjorie Estiano) will die without realizing her biggest dream: losing her virginity to José Alfredo (Alexandre Nero). The shrew’s death will happen after she imagines a hot night with the commander, but the public will soon discover that it was all a delusion of Aunt Cristina (Leandra Leal).
In a proof of love, the viper will be shot by Maurilio (Carmo Dalla Vechia) to save the life of the “man in black” in a samba school parade. The character will be in serious condition in hospital and will have a sexual hallucination with the husband of Maria Marta (Lilia Cabral).
Certain that she was “devirginated”, Elivaldo’s aunt (Rafael Losso) will tell a nurse about the episode. “My brother-in-law was here. He lay with me and loved me! He fulfilled his destiny. He made me a woman,” the patient will say. The health professional, however, will deny: “But I was at my post, at the end of the corridor, and I know that no one entered here”.
Cora will be upset by the nurse. Nervous, the villain will have an extremely accelerated heartbeat. A doctor will be called in to try to save the woman’s life, but he won’t succeed.
At that point, the commander will tell Josué (Roberto Birindelli) that he wants to go to the hospital to visit Cora. The scene will be precisely to avoid doubts that everything, really, was nothing more than an illusion of the shrew.
Meanwhile, in the hospital, the villain will see a figure coming out of her and then die. The Commander will arrive at the hospital at the time the doctor will look for Cristina to tell him about her aunt’s death.
In Cora’s delirium, she will receive a visit from José Alfredo at the hospital. “That’s what I lived for! To give myself to you, to be yours… I dreamed every night of my life that you arrived, just like that, in the dark and then lay down beside me, took me in your arms.”
In the villain’s dream, the commander will say: “Lie on your side, take you in my arms, take your virginity that you kept for me with such zeal… For the time has come, Cora dos Anjos, the woman who dreamed of this moment to whole life! Your dream will come true now.”
