With Batman and Robin dead farewell, Season 3 of Titans gets dark trailer

The third season of Titans won its first official trailer this Wednesday (14). The preview shows that the series will adapt a famous comic book arc with the murder of Jason Todd (Curran Walters), the second Robin, at the hands of the Joker. With the death of the boy wonder, Bruce Wayne/Batman (Iain Glen) decides to leave Gotham.

The new episodes promise to be even darker than previous seasons. The third-year trailer also features appearances by Savannah Welch (Boyhood) as Barbara Gordon, the ex-Batgirl, and Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men) as Jonathan Crane, the alter ego of the villain Scarecrow.

The video also revealed the arrival of Red Hood as the new villain of the attraction. For those unfamiliar with the history of the comics, Jason Todd assumed the identity of the villain after being resurrected and seeking revenge against Batman and the Joker.

In addition to Savannah and Kartheiser, the third season will also feature Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake, the third comic book Robin. The main cast of Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Damaris Lewis, Joshua Orpin, Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly are confirmed to return.

In Brazil, all Titãs episodes are available on Netflix. It’s not yet confirmed whether the show will be aired by HBO Max, as WarnerMedia’s service took over the show last year.
