Benfica is willing to sell Rafa Silva in the summer, but does not accept a proposal of less than 50 million euros by the Portuguese international.
Rafa has gained relevance in the Benfica this season and assumes itself as one of the biggest assets of the squad. After being polled by English emblems in January, the player can now be traded on the reopening of the transfer market.
As far as it was possible to ascertain by Record newspaper, SAD ‘incarnate’ wants to make a 50 million euros with the sale of the Portuguese extreme. It remains to be seen whether those interested in Benfica’s jersey 27 are willing to shell out such a large sum.
Rafa is also struggling to get a place in the squad for Fernando Santos for the next European Championship. If he gets a place in the national team, the player will be able to appreciate even more.
With contract until July 2024, Rafa Silva is shielding by a termination clause of 80 million euros. A transfer for this amount seems impossible at the moment. The player arrived at Estádio da Luz in 2016, coming from Sporting de Braga for 16 million euros.
At the age of 27, this may be one of the last opportunities for the extreme to reach a big club abroad, earning the eagles a large sum, writes the Record.
