A Uefa held on the morning of this Friday, the 19th, the draw of the matches for the quarterfinals of the European Champions League 2020/21 and, coincidentally, one of the confrontations is the reissue of last season’s final between Bayern Munchen e Paris Saint Germain, won by the Germans by 1 to 0. Another duel drawn also happened in a decision. It is the case of Real Madrid e Liverpool, who faced each other in the cup dispute in 2018, when the Spaniards won 3 to 1. The other two matches will be Manchester City x Borussia Dortmund e Porto x Chelsea. The dates reserved for the first games are the 6th and 7th of April, while the return will take place a week later, on the 13th and 14th of April. City, Porto, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will be the hosts of the first round.

There was no restriction in the draw carried out by UEFA. All teams could face each other in the quarterfinals, the first phase to have the balls drawn. In the sequence, another pot determined the crossings of the semifinals, in addition to the team that made the decision. In the semifinals, the winner of the clash between Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund will be challenged by whoever wins in Bayern Munich vs Paris Saint-Germain. On the other side of the key, the winner of Real Madrid vs Liverpool will face anyone who qualifies in the duel between Porto and Chelsea. The games on the 27th and 28th of April (outward) and the 4th and 5th of May (back). The big decision is scheduled for May 29, at the Atatürk Olympic stadium, in Istanbul, Turkey.
