ICC Awards Nomination: Team India cricketer Rishabh Pant has been nominated for an ICC award. Rishabh Pant has been named the ICC ‘Player of the Month’ for the first time in four Test series against Australia. However, along with Pant, two other foreign players were also selected for the ward. The winner will be announced on the 8th. The ICC has introduced the ‘Player of the Month’ award for the first time. The award is presented every month to cricketers (men and women) who have excelled internationally in three formats. However the winner of this award will be announced on the second Monday of each month. Pant, who was nominated for the first ‘Player of the Month’ award, scored 97 in one match and 89 in another in the recent Test series against Australia. The ICC has put online the list of players nominated for the award for online voting. The ICC Committee presents the award to the winners based on online voting. Among women cricketers, Pakistan’s Diana Beg has been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award. The ICC will also put their names up for online voting.
